Collateral and Indications Operations- Associate

Were seeking someone to join our team as an Associate in ISG Equity Operations to support the Collateral and Indications Ops function.

In the Operations division we partner with business units across the Firm to support financial transactions devise and implement effective controls and develop client relationships. This is an Associate level position level position within Product Support & Services which is responsible for providing transaction support and managing post execution processes.

What youll do in the role:
- Execute processes/functions and/or support process management and project efforts leveraging knowledge of the systems markets and instruments that influence the team
- Recognize risk in day-to-day processes to draw out the key issues and contribute to process improvements
- Build relationships within team and internal stakeholders sharing knowledge to contribute to team output
- Participate in projects and initiatives aiding in solution formulation with a focus on timely execution
- Focus will be on daily execution of the daily Collateral Margin process for OTC relationships responsible for margin calls issuance booking and settlement. What youll bring to the role:
- Ability to establish clear goals and priorities in order to execute daily responsibilities.
- Ability to address non-standard issues within area of expertise with minimal guidance and supervision
- Ability to build subject matter expertise and ensure control is not compromised to comply with client requests
- Ability to apply strong risk awareness and escalate in clear and concise manner
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders

- At least 2 years relevant experience would generally be expected to find the skills required for this role

Expected base pay rates for the role will be between 65000 and 103000 per year at the commencement of employment. However base pay if hired will be determined on an individualized basis and is only part of the total compensation package which depending on the position may also include commission earnings incentive compensation discretionary bonuses other short and long-term incentive packages and other Morgan Stanley sponsored benefit programs.
