Job Summary The Food and Nutritional Services Worker assists in food preparation service and sanitation to ensure safe high-quality meals for patients visitors and staff.
How youll contribute
Assist with preparing meals and snacks according to planned menus and diet orders.
Serve meals in a courteous and timely manner.
Clean and sanitize kitchen areas equipment dishes and utensils.
Restock supplies and maintain food service areas in accordance with safety standards.
Follow infection control and food safety guidelines.
Mesa Springs is a behavioral health hospital located in Fort Worth TX. We provide inpatient and outpatient programming for those facing mental health and addiction challenges. Our programs offer compassionate behavioral health treatment for children adolescents and adults as well as specialized treatment for military veterans first responders and other frontline professionals as part of our Help for Heroes program.
Programs include inpatient mental health and addiction treatment Partial Hospitalization Programs (PHP) and Intensive Outpatient Programs (IOP).
Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent required.
Previous food service or dietary experience preferred healthcare setting ideal.
Knowledge of food handling sanitation and safety procedures.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and follow directions.
Strong customer service and teamwork skills.
