Job Description
Are you detail-oriented and thrive in a dynamic fast-paced environment Join our team as a Field Clerk and play a crucial role in ensuring smooth operations on the ground.
Primoris Heavy Civil is currently searching for a Field Office Clerk to assist on our Laredo TX project. Field Office Clerk to support daily administrative operations on a heavy civil construction project. The ideal candidate will have experience in construction office support and be familiar with tasks such as managing timesheets receiving purchase order tickets tracking new hires and handling general administrative duties. This role plays a critical part in ensuring our field operations run smoothly and efficiently.
Job Description:
Provide administrative support on the job site. Will be responsible for all Field Office Admin duties to also include: equipment reports arranging meetings responsible for general knowledge of heavy civil road construction process assisting both Office engineer and project manager.
General Requirements:
- Follow verbal and written instructions.
- Report to and assist immediate supervisor.
- Perform quality work as determined by project specifications.
- Must work well as part of a team.
Functional Requirements:
- Makes copies of correspondence and other printed materials.
- Compose and/or maintain all reports badge requests etc. as required.
- Initiates all testing and training that is required for all projects.
- Answers and manages foremans project engineers project managers and employees telephone calls
- Constant communication with several different departments in the Belton Tx main office.
- Data entry and contact management
- Ensures all documents are scanned into the digital file management system.
- Effectively files resources and/or documentation according to our electronic standards.
- Maintain open communication with supervisors and all office employees on projects.
- Draft correspondences and other formal documents
- Clarify and resolve problems; coordinate work; maintain working relationships.
Qualification Standards:
- Prior experience working in Construction and administrative duties
- Bilingual written/speaking is desirable.
- Knowledge of: Outlook and Excel is a plus.
- Must maintain a professional demeanor.
- Must be able to work under deadlines be reliable and be able to work independently.
