About This Opportunity
The Visual and Performing Arts Department at Daemen University is seeking a qualified adjunct instructor for an introductory course in Foundation Design.
The selected candidate will be responsible for teaching ARTFoundation Design I as a studio course to students enrolled in the Visual and Performing Arts Department with oversight by the Chair to ensure compliance with departmental curricular and institutional requirements.
This course will be offered in person on Daemens Amherst campus on Monday and Wednesdays from 8:00 AM - 11:00 AM.
The candidate will be responsible for teaching ART 103-01 which is an exploration of two-dimensional composition with an emphasis on the elements and principles of design.
$3000 per semester
Required Qualifications:
MFA or closely related degree.
Preferred Qualifications:
Previous teaching experience in higher education
