Position Overview:

A Fit Out Engineer is responsible for overseeing the technical aspects of commercial interior construction projects ensuring designs are properly implemented according to specifications building codes and client requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the technical delivery of interior fit out projects from design through to completion
• Coordination between tenants and Landlord to ensure seamless project execution.
• Ensure Landlord guidelines and technical requirements are followed throughout the Project execution.
• Review architectural and engineering drawings to ensure constructability and compliance with specifications
• Coordinate with contractors architects and other consultants throughout project execution
• Conduct regular site inspections to monitor construction quality and progress
• Resolve technical issues and design conflicts that arise during construction
• Manage project schedules and monitor construction milestones
• Ensure compliance with building codes health and safety regulations and sustainability requirements
• Prepare technical reports and maintain project documentation
• Participate in client meetings to address technical queries and provide solutions
• Review and approve contractor submittals and material samples

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Engineering Building Services Construction Management or related field
• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in commercial fit out or construction projects
• Strong understanding of building systems including mechanical electrical plumbing and fire safety
• Knowledge of building codes and construction standards
• Experience with project management methodologies
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications

Skills and Competencies:

• Strong problem-solving abilities and technical aptitude
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
• Proficiency in project management and CAD software
• Understanding of sustainable building practices and certifications (LEED BREEAM WELL etc.)
