This is a remote position.
We are seeking a skilled AI Consultant to join our HCM team who will play a critical role in supporting the successful implementation of the Workday system with a focus on integrating AI capabilities to optimize workflows and enhance user experiences. Collaborating closely with DDIT cross-functional teams to deliver scalable solutions that enable intelligent decision-making and operational efficiency helping to use AI tolls for the program.
1. Collaboration with Leadership
- Act as a trusted advisor to IT leadership presenting insights and recommendations on AI-driven opportunities for improving talent management workforce planning and operational efficiencies.
- Work closely with leadership to ensure AI-based solutions align with the strategic vision and priorities of the organization particularly in enhancing employee experiences through the Workday system.
- Provide clear and concise updates to leadership about AI integration progress potential risks and measurable benefits for the HCM Program.
- Collaborate with leadership to drive innovation by identifying high-impact areas for deploying AI capabilities within Workday and related HR processes.
- Support leadership in creating a culture of data-driven decision-making by delivering workshops or presentations on the role and benefits of AI in the HCM system.
2. Coordination with the PMO (Project Management Office) Team
- Partner with the PMO team to outline project plans and timelines related to AI system design and deployment within the Workday rollout.
- Provide progress updates on AI deliverables and communicate risks challenges or needs concerning project schedules.
- Ensure alignment between AI capabilities and the broader HCM Program goals while ensuring all stakeholders understand the value AI brings to the Workday implementation.
- Support the PMO in creating resource plans and budgets related to AI features or integrations.
3. Collaboration with the Data Migration Team
- Assist the Data Migration team in preparing and validating datasets for AI-driven analysis and functionality within Workday.
- Help develop strategies to clean preprocess and structure data for successful migration and integration with AI applications.
- Ensure that data migration processes align with AI requirements ensuring all key data points are preserved for machine learning models and insights (e.g. workforce analytics and predictions).
- Identify points of improvement for enhancing data quality consistency and governance.
4. Collaboration with the Integration Team
- Work closely with the Integration team to ensure seamless integration of AI-driven functionalities within the Workday system and other HR-related platforms.
- Define requirements for integrating AI models into Workday modules ensuring compatibility with existing systems and workflows.
- Collaborate on API development and data pipelines to enable real-time data flows for AI tools and functionalities (e.g. predictive analytics and automation).
- Identify and address challenges in integrating AI solutions to maintain performance accuracy and scalability.
5. Collaboration with the Testing Team
- Partner with the Testing team to develop test cases for validating the functionality and performance of AI solutions integrated into Workday.
- Ensure iterative testing of AI features to verify their accuracy reliability and scalability post-deployment.
- Participate in simulation scenarios to validate the effectiveness of AI models such as predictive algorithms for talent management or task automation under various conditions.
- Collaborate to troubleshoot issues during testing phases and refine AI systems to meet user expectations and compliance standards.
6. General Cross-Team Collaboration
- Act as a central point of expertise for AI-related activities across all teams within the HCM Program.
- Facilitate communication and knowledge-sharing between teams to ensure a unified understanding of AI capabilities and their impact on the Workday implementation.
- Provide technical consultations and support to Integration PMO Data Migration and Testing teams in leveraging AI tools to address specific challenges or requirements.
- Adapt AI solutions to meet the needs of each team ensuring they align with organizational objectives and business processes.
7. Continuous Improvement and Innovation
- Proactively identify opportunities to apply cutting-edge AI technologies across workflows managed by the Integration PMO Data Migration and Testing teams.
- Recommend innovative AI solutions for optimizing processes improving efficiency and enhancing user experience within Workday.
- Take ownership of keeping AI systems and models up-to-date incorporating feedback from teams and leadership to refine functionality.
8. Compliance and Ethical AI Practices
- Ensure that all AI integrations across different teams and leadership initiatives comply with Novartis policies on data privacy ethical standards and regulatory requirements.
- Conduct regular reviews and audits of AI systems to safeguard against bias and maintain equity throughout HR processes supported by Workday.
Requirements
Bachelors or master s degree in computer science Data Science Machine Learning Artificial Intelligence or related fields.
Experience with AI frameworks (TensorFlow PyTorch) programming languages (e.g. Python R) and visualization tools (e.g. Tableau Power BI). Knowledge of cloud solutions (e.g. AWS Azure) is a plus.
Experience in designing developing and deploying AI/ML solutions including predictive analytics and natural language processing (NLP).
Familiarity with AI-driven automation tools to optimize workflows.
Hands-on experience in implementing and configuring Workday modules. Understanding of Workday s capabilities architecture APIs and data integration processes.
Ability to train internal teams and leadership on AI capabilities to ensure proper adoption empower users and foster a data-driven culture.
Strong analytical thinking to identify challenges propose solutions and optimize workflows using AI.
A commitment to ethical AI practices and a deep understanding of data governance principles.
Strong collaborative attitude and ability to work in a fast-paced innovative environment.
Understanding of Human Capital Management processes and challenges. Strong understanding of how AI and HR technology impact organizational performance and employee experience.
Proven experience in advising senior leadership and presenting business cases that demonstrate the impact of AI-driven solutions at a strategic level.
Skilled at managing change in a fast-paced environment to encourage AI adoption and ensure alignment with strategic priorities.
