Vital Tech Solutions is seeking a Business Analyst with recent experience in Commercial Lines insurance for a long-term contract opportunity. This is a fully remote role supporting a high-visibility initiative focused on Guidewire PolicyCenter (v10.1.2).
Role Overview:
We re looking for a confident self-starting Business Analyst who thrives in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate has strong working knowledge of Commercial Lines insurance Commercial Auto (CA) Workers Compensation (WC) Business Owners Policy (BOP) and other Commercial Lines (CL) and recent hands-on experience with Guidewire PolicyCenter.
Key Responsibilities:
- Gather and document technical and business requirements with minimal supervision
- Collaborate with developers QA and business stakeholders to support screen and rating flow design underwriting rules and validation logic
- Analyze and support integrations with third-party systems (e.g. MVR Loss History Insurance Scoring)
- Work closely with the PolicyCenter team to troubleshoot and improve workflows on v10.1.2
- Translate insurance business processes and terminology into technical solutions
- Participate in sprint planning and Agile ceremonies as needed
Requirements
Required Experience & Skills:
- Recent Commercial Lines experience (CA WC BOP CL)
- Strong hands-on familiarity with Guidewire PolicyCenter v10 (including screen/UX rating underwriting validations)
- Solid understanding of third-party integrations common to P&C insurance
- Excellent English language and communication skills both written and verbal
- Proven success in fast-paced multi-tasking environments
- Strong comprehension and quick learning across complex topics
- Assertive independent and comfortable driving discussions and decisions
