PokmonClub Instructor (Miller Community Center)
The Associated Recreation Council (ARC) in partnership with Seattle Parks and Recreation is recruiting aPokmon Instructorto lead various Pokmon and Strategy Game classes at Miller Community Center. The Instructor will be responsible for leading planning and managing a group of youth ages 6-12. The instructor will focus on teaching participants various gaming skills particularly relating to the Pokmon Trading Card position will be also responsible for creating a fun and creative environment for participants. A passion for teaching is a must!
Start Date: 12/4/2025
Schedule:
- Afternoons/evenings exact schedule TBD
- Part-time
Pokmon Instructor Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver developmentally appropriatelesson plans/activities related to Pokmon and the Pokmon TCG to kids ages 6-12
- Use critical thinking to problem-solve and manage conflict
- Generate supply lists; there will be some class supply funds available
- Maintain appropriate professional appearance
- Daily set-up take down and cleaning of space
Pokmon Club Instructor Requirements include:
- Experience playing the Pokmon Trading Card game and basic understanding of the Pokmon universe
- Must be 16years of age or older
- 2 years prior experience with Children
- Prior youth programming experience required
Pay:
- $24.50-$26.50/hr
