The Trialing & Product Placement Regional Lead will play an instrumental role in our late-stage product portfolio across all vegetable crops and segments by:
- Securing high-quality late-stage product characterization and elevating product advancement and placement.
- Influencing the development of fit-for-purpose product portfolio across-crops to address customer needs in the respective region.
- Representing R&D in respective markets and translating market needs and business plan into technical strategy and resourcing in partnership with marketing and sales.
- Lead and develop a team of trialing and product placement experts overseeing late-stage product characterization and data-driven advancement across the regional trialing network.
- Drive optimization of regional trialing footprint and implementation of new technologies (phenomics envirotyping analytics) to maximize data quality and portfolio delivery.
- Partner with marketing and sales teams to translate regional business strategy into superior product portfolio development ensuring alignment with customer needs and market demands.
- Manage end-to-end product characterization process including data collection analysis and translation of insights for product placement and advancement decisions.
- Develop and execute resource planning budget forecasting and external partnerships to deliver on business objectives while maintaining portfolio health across all crops.
Qualifications :
- PhD or MS in Agronomy Crop Science Plant Breeding or related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in seed industry after PhD or 7 years after MS
- Extensive experience in commercial breeding product development and characterization and product portfolio management
- Strong business acumen and solid understanding of the seeds business beyond R&D
- Demonstrated experience in people leadership budget management strategic planning stakeholder management and program management
- Fluency in English (oral and written). Additional languages relevant for respective regions are a plus

Salary for this role is $118300 - $219700 per year.
