Playgroup Assistant/Community Playgroups Coordinated Family and Community Engagement
Description Playgroup assistant for communty playgroups
Grant Funded Position
Coordinated Family and Community Engagement Grant (CFCE)
Woriking with the Community Outreach Coordinator Plan and implement community
programming for young families in -facilitate 2
weekly community playgroups for children ages 18 months to 4 years of age and their
parents/caregivers. Manage supply inventory and support the development of literacy events such as story walkd and weekend events for families. Create a quarterly newsleter with inut from community partners.
Support Community Outreach Coordinator with implementation of the Ages and Stages
Questionnaire. Build programming based on needs identified.
Degree or experience in Early Childhood Education or related field.
Preferred experience: 3 to 5 years experience working with young children and families.
Friendly enthusiastic with a positive attitude.
Self-motivated community driven and able to cultivate community partnerships.
Set up and break down of materials for playgroup.
Abiltiy to use technology to conduct playgroups virtually if needed.
.25 FTE
44 weeks X25 per hourx 10 hours per week not to exceed $11000
