Job Description

  • Design develop and release powertrain differential EDM and cradle mounts from concept to vehicle launch

  • Coordinate validation and testing with cross-functional teams (NVH Dynamics Vehicle Integration Stress Lab CAE)

  • Lead component design using FMEA and CAE tools

  • Ensure vehicle packaging compliance and drawing/model integrity

  • Manage change processes (CN EBOM/CODEP) and issue tracking (GIMs)

  • Oversee component validation (DVP&R)

  • Support builds at OEM assembly and supplier plants

  • Design fastened joints and develop torque specifications


Qualifications :

  • Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering Automotive Engineering or a related field with 2 to 5 years of experience in automotive.
  • Experience in powertrain and chassis system design/release

  • Proficient in FMEA CAE and DVP&R processes

  • Knowledge of vehicle packaging and drawing best practices

  • Familiarity with change management systems (CN EBOM/CODEP)

  • Skilled in issue tracking with GIMs

  • Experience with fastener joint design and torque specification development

  • Ability to coordinate with cross-functional teams for validation/testing

  • Build support experience at OEM and supplier facilities
