Job Title: MAG Auditor
Location: Austin TX (12365 Riata Trace Pkwy ACN OPS)
Work Schedule: Remote (Local candidates preferred)
Pay Rate: $28.89/hour
Employment Type: Contract
Job Summary:
We are seeking a Service Delivery Business Advisor to join our team supporting the Health & Public Services (H&PS) sector. The selected candidate will serve as a MAG Auditor responsible for auditing financial and statistical cost reporting data to accurately determine provider reimbursement rates for Medicaid claim processing.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and finalize cost settlements for hospitals Rural Health Clinics and Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHCs)
Audit financial/statistical data for accuracy and compliance with Medicaid guidelines
Perform on-site field audits (including travel to childrens hospitals)
Reconcile quarterly wrap payments for FQHCs
Recommend financial adjustments or policy changes based on audit findings
Collaborate with team members and maintain professional communication with providers
Required Skills:
Bachelors degree in Business or related field
Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel)
Strong time management and problem-solving skills
Team-oriented and dependable
Preferred Qualifications:
Degree in Accounting
Prior auditing experience
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
Strong leadership communication (written & verbal) and interpersonal skills
