Job Description

Job Title: Safety Professional Services
Location: Department of Energy (DOE) government offices Hanford Field Office (HFO) Richland WA.

AttainX is searching for a talented Safety Professional Services expert to join our team supporting our client the DOE in Richland WA.


Compensation:$125000 - $170000 annually; salary range may vary based on years of professional relevant experience educational background and related professional skillset.


Qualifications:

Required:

  • BS/BA degree in physics health physics (HP) science industrial hygiene (IH) or engineering
  • 10 years of experience in chemical safety management or process safety management
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Must be a U.S. citizen

Preferred Experience:

  • Certified HP
  • Certified IH
  • Masters degree or PhD in HP physics science or engineering
  • Certified safety professional
  • Experience with process safety management

Job Duties:

  • Provide expert safety professional services for the Waste Treatment Plant (WTP) to perform reviews of industrial and construction safety programs.
  • Assess WTP contractors compliance with applicable laws regulations or directives as codified in Code of Federal Regulations (CFR) 835 10 CFR 851 10 CFR 850.
  • Assist the DOE Chemical Safety Manager in oversight of the Chemical Safety Management Program (CSMP) and Process Safety Management (PSM) Program.
  • Apply expert knowledge of process system safety and understanding of defense-in-depth and layer protection analysis to oversight of the programs.
  • Integrate with a diverse discipline team to evaluate implementation of the CSMP and PSM programs effectively and comprehensively.
  • Assist the DOE Chemical Safety Manager in review and approval of submitted CSMP deliverables.
