Informix DBA

About the role:

Informix DBA to support the client system running on Mainframe/Unix customer facing with good understanding of Database administration skills

Key Responsibilities:

• Expected to have expertise in Informix maintenance (patching/upgrading software) in a mainframe/unix environment.

• 24X7 support shift work and after-hours support required
• Operational and technical support to Application support and management.
• Problem ticket in-depth analysis troubleshooting problem resolution
• Operational monitoring alerting and tuning
• Proactively providing innovative solutions in accordance with modern technologies
• Build and maintain relationships with and advise various levels of stakeholders.

The Successful Candidate

• Informix administration
• Database sustainment including incident management and troubleshooting.
• Working with developers on database improvements.
