Job Title: Associate Consultant Healthcare Consulting & Implementation


Location: Chicago IL/Alpharetta GA


Travel Requirement: Occasional Travel

The Opportunity


We are seeking a consultant to join our growing Healthcare Consulting & Implementation this client-facing role you will support and help deliver audits assessments and advisory engagements across a diverse set of healthcare and regulatory frameworks. Youll work closely with our clients to assess risk evaluate documentation and support compliance efforts involving HITRUST HIPAA NIST 800-53 ISO 27001 CMS and privacy regulations.

This is a remote position with occasional travel and offers company-sponsored certification programs to support your continued professional development.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the delivery of audits assessments and advisory services for healthcare and regulated clients
  • Assist in evaluating security and privacy controls performing risk assessments reviewing documentation and identifying compliance gaps
  • Learn and apply leading frameworks and regulations such as HITRUST HIPAA ISO 27001 NIST 800-53 CMS and privacy standards
  • Contribute to the development of high-quality deliverables including findings reports remediation plans and client-facing presentations
  • Collaborate with senior consultants and project leads to ensure the successful execution of client engagements
  • Build and maintain trusted client relationships representing NCC Group with professionalism and care

What Were Looking For

  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
  • Strong interest in cybersecurity privacy and compliance
  • Eagerness to learn and pursue relevant industry certifications (e.g. HITRUST CCSFP ISO 27001) paid for by NCC Group
  • High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a remote work environment
  • Willingness to travel occasionally for client engagements

Qualifications That Stand Out

  • Bachelors degree or higher in cybersecurity information systems health information management or a related field
  • Internship or entry-level experience in IT auditing privacy compliance or risk management
  • Familiarity with security or privacy standards such as HITRUST CSF HIPAA NIST ISO 27001 or CMS
  • Experience working in or supporting the healthcare sector
