Now Hiring: Onsite Accounts Payable (AP) Specialist
Location: Lorton VA (Onsite Only)
Full-Time $70000$80000/year Discretionary Bonus
Are you a seasoned Accounts Payable professional looking for a stable long-term opportunity in the construction industry Were looking for a detail-oriented and reliable AP Specialist to join our team onsite in Lorton VA.
This role is perfect for someone with a strong AP background who can hit the ground running manage high-volume invoices and support key financial functions in a fast-paced office environment.
What Youll Be Doing:
- Manage $12 million/month in AP transactions
- Handle AIA billing and lien releases
- Support general office accounting functions
- Utilize Construction Partners software for AP processing
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely and accurate payments
What Were Looking For:
Must-Haves:
- 5 years of AP experience (10 preferred)
- Strong steady work history in AP
- Prior exposure to construction accounting is highly preferred
- Familiarity with AIA billing and lien release workflows
- Self-sufficient and organized can work with minimal training
- Comfortable working onsite full-time in Lorton VA
- No degree required we value experience over credentials
Nice to Have:
- Experience in the construction industry (commercial or residential)
- Proficiency with Construction Partners or similar accounting software
