Job Description

As a valued colleague on our team you will act as a Senior Engineer in designing and developing advanced solutions for information technology (IT) infrastructure environments. This includes coding testing and certifying technology platforms software and applications as well as coaching and mentoring team members.

The Impact You Will Make

The Cloud Infrastructure - Technology Engineering - Senior Associate role offers you the flexibility to make each day your own while working alongside people who care. You will deliver on the following responsibilities:

  • Apply your advanced skills and knowledge to develop solutions for application and cloud support.

  • Understand the end-to-end performance of on-premises and cloud systems and various support frameworks.

  • Establish and maintain policies guidelines and standard operating procedures.

  • Monitor performance and capacity metrics for technology solutions and lead the team in addressing identified issues.

The Experience You Bring to the Team

Minimum Required Experience:

  • 2 years of hands-on experience managing large-scale Linux and Windows Server environments both in AWS and on-premises.

Desired Experience:

  • 3 years of hands-on experience working with large-scale Windows and Linux environments in on-premises and AWS.

  • Experience supporting mission-critical platforms in an on-call setting.

  • AWS/Linux/Windows certifications.

Skills

  • Proficient in system engineering and administration for Linux and Windows Server with in-depth knowledge of SUSE RedHat and Windows server operating systems.

  • Skilled in AWS services such as EC2 SSM CloudFormation CloudWatch and Lambda.

  • Skilled in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) Python and other programming languages.

  • Ability to work independently on multiple concurrent tasks in a dynamic environment with strong customer service skills teamwork abilities and collaboration within cross-functional teams.

Tools

  • AWS: EC2 SSM CloudFormation CloudWatch and Lambda.

  • VMware DELL VxRAIL and CISCO UCS.

  • Python Java.

Qualifications

Education:

Bachelors Level Degree (Required)

The hiring range for this role is set forth below. Final salaries will generally vary within that range based on factors that include but are not limited to skill set depth of experience certifications and other relevant qualifications. This position is eligible to participate in a Fannie Mae incentive program (subject to the terms of the program).
