Sentara Health is currently seeking a Patient Transporter at Sentara Albemarle Medical Center.
Hours/Shift: Part-time Weekends Day Shift 9a-5:30p
As a Patient Transporter with Sentara you will safely escort and transport patients within all areas of the hospital using safe body mechanics. The Patient Transporter strictly adheres to all safety rules and initiatives of Sentara. You will be responsible for communicating clearly with all staff visitors and patients. You will also ensure adequate communication of information between Central Transport and other departments.

Education Required:
High School Diploma
Certifications Required:
Basic Life Support (BLS) - Other/National within 90 days of hire

Sentara Albemarle Medical Center located in Elizabeth City NC serves northeastern North Carolina with a caring team of approximately 650 employees and 150 medical providers. It is projected to cost about $200 million up from the original estimate of $158 million due to sharp spikes in costs for building materials and medical equipment.
