Position Description
This is a part-time unpaid internship (1015 hours/week) ideal for students interested in communications digital strategy and advocacy. Interns will gain experience in ethical storytelling campaign planning and how communications functions within a mission-driven organization. Course credit available upon request.

About the Position
Reporting to the Manager of Communications the Communications Intern will support Restores digital communications advocacy and storytelling efforts. This is an unpaid part-time position designed to enhance a students experience in nonprofit communications and marketing. It requires a minimum commitment of 1015 hours per week.
This role offers a unique opportunity to learn how nonprofit communications supports audience growth donor engagement advocacy and mission awareness. Interns will gain hands-on experience in ethical storytelling digital strategy and content planning and work collaboratively with the Communications Manager to help grow Restores reach retain supporters and strengthen public understanding.

Additional Information
This is an unpaid part-time position requiring a minimum commitment of 10-15 hours per week including 4 hours per week in-person at our Midtown Office.
We are looking for someone who can start in mid-September and would be willing to commit to a full academic semester. Please let us know if these work hours can be used toward course credit and we will support you with any required paperwork.
We will consider applicants who are undergraduate students or graduate students with experience or interest in anti-human trafficking human rights or services to exploited and vulnerable populations.
Restore NYC is a Christian faith-based organization; interns do not have to profess the Christian faith but must respect our values. We help survivors regardless of their religion and spiritual activities are optional for every client.
