About the Role
Key Responsibilities
Lead and mentor the QA automation team ensuring best practices and continuous improvement.
Design develop and maintain scalable automation frameworks for UI API and database testing.
Implement UI automation using Playwright Selenium and ensure cross-browser/device coverage.
Perform API automation testing using Karate RestAssured Postman with robust validations.
Conduct database validation and automation (SQL queries data integrity migration testing).
Build performance test suites with Gatling JMeter k6 and provide optimization insights.
Perform Java application profiling using VisualVM JProfiler YourKit or equivalent.
Leverage AI-based automation tools for self-healing scripts intelligent test coverage and defect prediction.
Integrate automation into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins GitHub Actions GitLab CI).
Work in AWS environments for test execution environment setup and cloud-based performance testing.
Collaborate with development DevOps and product teams for quality alignment from design to production.
Define QA metrics conduct root cause analysis and drive quality improvements.
Requirements
Required Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor s/Master s degree in Computer Science Engineering or related field.
7 years in QA with 4 years as QA Lead/SDET.
Strong automation expertise with Playwright Selenium Karate TestNG JUnit.
API testing expertise with Karate RestAssured Postman.
Performance testing experience with Gatling JMeter k6.
Database testing skills (MySQL PostgreSQL or similar).
Proficiency in Java (plus Python or JavaScript preferred).
Java profiling and optimization experience.
AWS cloud testing and deployment knowledge.
Solid understanding of Agile/Scrum practices.
