Job Description
Now Hiring: Packaging Operator Santa Teresa NM
Were looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Packaging Operator to join our team! This position involves operating plastic strapping machines and shrink guns packaging finished goods and using a sit-down forklift.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate plastic strapping machines & shrink guns
Inspect count & weigh products
Move packaged goods to storage/dispatch areas
Maintain records calibrate scales supply packaging materials
Keep work area clean & follow safety regulations
Perform basic maintenance
Operate sit-down forklift
Shift Schedule (Rotates every 4 months):
Starting on night shift: 7:00 PM 7:00 AM
Week 1: 4 shifts (48 hrs.) Week 2: 3 shifts (36 hrs.)
Pay:
Day Shift (7 AM 7PM): $16.25/hr. Night Shift (7 PM 7AM): $17.75/hr.
Requirements:
Steel-toed shoes required
Sit-down forklift experience must attend forklift assessment class.
Ability to work 12-hour rotating shifts
