Location/Division Specific Information
The Onsite Applications Specialist is a specialized role within the Instrument Services Business Unit which is directly responsible for the innovative technology of mass spectrometry and its application to life science research including all clinical research and toxicology applications.
This position will be site based at one of our Strategic Account in South San Francisco CA.

The Onsite Application Specialist will serve as a subject matter expert Thermo Fisher Scientific ant Genentech. They will apply scientific expertise to identify key application needs to enable our customers to accelerate their science in clinical research biomarkers targeted protein analysis genetic biochemistry and toxicology.
A successful candidate will be a highly motivated and diligent individual who is passionate about science mass spectrometry and improving overall human health. This individual will have superb interpersonal and communication skills relevant to the role as well as the ability to work both independently and collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team of peers commercial sales and marketing. Ultimately the candidate should thrive in a fast-paced highly dynamic and exciting environment that is on the cutting edge of mass spectrometry technology.

Compensation and Benefits
The salary range estimated for this position based in California is $123800.00$165000.00.This position may also be eligible to receive a variable annual bonus based on company team and/or individual performance results in accordance with company policy.
