Job Description
JOB DESCRIPTION:
MAIN PURPOSE OF ROLE
This position is a functional role that includes shipping and receiving tasks to ensure all shipments are received and/or shipped in a timely manner and per requirements. This position may also include Warehousing & Inventory tasks if applicable.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
- Receive incoming goods check for damage and for discrepancies between goods and invoices.
- Pick order pack receive and dispatch outgoing goods according to written or verbal requests or orders.
- Ensure proper routing of materials is maintained while transporting the materials between departments.
- Enter data into a database or other computerized system to maintain up-to-date stock and inventory records.
- Retrieve stored information to respond to enquiries (for example on stock transfer inventory levels or delivery schedules).
- Perform other routine clerical activities according to the organizations established procedures.
- These activities may include updating stock cards and inventory records and completing receipt transfer delivery and dispatch forms.
QUALIFICATIONS
Education
- High School Diploma / GED or an equivalent combination of education and work experience
Experience/Background
- Minimum 1 year
- 1 - 3 years experience preferred.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Basic computer skills are required.
- Able to work in a fast paced environment.
- Able to work overtime as the business requires to include Holidays and weekends.
- Ability to work within a team and as an individual contributor in a fast-paced changing environment.
- Ability to maintain regular and predictable attendance.
- General proficiencies in Microsoft Office and SAP desired.

The base pay for this position is
$19.15 $38.35/hourIn specific locations the pay range may vary from the range posted.
