Job Description

Position Summary
Position Summary : This is an entry-level position in Sport Programs. The Sports Programs Ambassador is responsible for enforcing the policies and procedures of Intramural Sports and Sports Clubs. The Ambassador may work on all aspects of activity and event operations for sports programs from officiating intramural sports to score keeping timekeeping and equipment management to monitoring sports club practices and actively serving as the risk manager for these activities. We provide all training through paid meetings and paid clinics to learn rules mechanics positioning and other operational duties to ensure each events overall success safety and timeliness. No prior experience is necessary. The Sport Programs Ambassador may be asked to assist other team members as needed. Primary Responsibilities : Assist with the administration and management of individual dual and team Intramural Sports activities. Assist with the scheduling of leagues and tournaments rules revisions and program evaluations. Assist with Sport Club program management and organization. Coordinate the management supervision scheduling training and evaluation of Sport Programs Staff. Oversee event operations and supervise staff at home events. Assist with risk management initiatives and the implementation of risk management policies and procedures. Evening supervision of Intramural and Sport Clubs activities one day a week during the Fall and Spring semester. Weekend supervision of Intramural and Sport Clubs activities one weekend a month during the Fall and Spring semester

Required Qualifications Competencies And Experience
Must possess strong interpersonal communication skills proven written and organization skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks Ability to work independently and in a team environment

Work Schedule
Expected to work 4-8 hours per week. Most work hours will occur Monday Friday between 9:00 AM and 9:00 PM. The official work schedule will be negotiated with the immediate supervisor. The preferred term for this vacancy is from September 2025 until April 2026. Start date is flexible but must occur on or before September 2nd 2025.
