Job Description
Perform assembly packaging shipping functions and operate machines and
equipment to fabricate parts for assembly and sub-assembly of parts. Completerequired paperwork. This is an onsite position in Utica on 1st shift with the hours of 6:55am-3:25pm.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Perform manufacturing assembly sub-assembly inspection and packaging duties to
assemble ship select medical devices following companies policies and procedures. - Operate machine set up by another with defined adjustments.
- Load/Unload parts and cut/trim parts using established procedures/tools.
- Sustain and maintain 5s standards.
- Inspect parts - visual and using basic gauges.
- Complete required paperwork to include preparing labels maintaining production logsand recording process results.
Job Requirements:
- Must be able to perform at workbench according to CONMED standard practices and lift up to 30 pounds unassisted.
- Must be able to follow verbal and written instructions. Able to work at established production rates and demonstrate good hand/eye coordination and manual dexterity.
- Basic English speaking/comprehension/reading-ability required
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous manufacturing experience.
This position is not eligible for employer-based sponsorship.
Disclosure as required by applicable law the hourly pay rate for this position is $15.91/hour. The hourly pay rate is CONMEDs good faith belief at the time of this posting.
