We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Structural Engineer with a Professional Engineer (PE) license to enhance our team. This position is ideal for individuals who excel in designing and approving structural components within the refrigeration sector particularly for regions susceptible to hurricanes and earthquakes such as Florida and California. The role offers the flexibility of remote work allowing you to contribute to significant projects that emphasize safety innovation and regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide structural approvals for custom-engineered walk-in refrigeration systems in high-risk areas.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop innovative and compliant solutions.
- Lead or assist with technical training sessions for internal teams and external dealer networks.
- Maintain active PE licenses in multiple states and pursue ongoing professional development.
- Contribute to compliance efforts and the development of new product lines.
- Participate in occasional travel to manufacturing sites within the U.S.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Civil Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
- Valid PE license with preference for licensure in Florida or California.
- Possession of a Structural Engineer (SE) license in California is advantageous.
- A minimum of 5 years of professional experience as a PE with a background in project management being beneficial.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD or equivalent CAD software.
- Familiarity with refrigeration systems and sheet metal design is a plus.
- Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
