Job Description

SUPPORT COORDINATION OFFICER

Amicus is a not-for-profit organisation making a big difference in our community. We have been a part of Bendigo for over 35 years. We are continually growing and currently have an exciting opportunity for a Support Coordination Officer to join our team.

Summary:

You will work as part of our committed and caring team to provide holistic support to participants and get the best from their plan their community and their lives. This administration support role works alongside our Support Coordination team.

Role Requirements:

Provide general administrative support to the Support Coordination team including meeting minutes record-keeping and ensuring compliance with NDIS standards.

Maintain accurate and timely administration including updating participant records.

Support a small caseload of NDIS participants and their families in implementing their plans and developing autonomy in coordinating their supports.

Liaise with disability service providers and mainstream services to connect participants with appropriate supports.

Coordinate and implement supports and services outlined in participants NDIS plans as per the Service Agreement.

Build collaborative relationships between participants and service providers to ensure a coordinated goal-focused support approach.

Assist with NDIS plan reviews by gathering evidence facilitating advocacy support and identifying necessary supports.

Maintain compliance with NDIA requirements organisational policies and regulatory standards.

Work within participant funding levels to meet billable hours and KPI targets.

You Will Need:

Strong administrative organisational and time management skills with a focus on accuracy and efficiency.

Understanding of the NDIS and related service sectors with a passion for supporting individuals with disabilities.

Excellent interpersonal skills to build relationships with participants service providers and stakeholders.

Proven ability to problem-solve prioritise tasks and manage challenges effectively.

Previous experience in prioritising and managing workload within a busy environment.

Proficiency in MS Office Outlook and CRM software (Salesforce experience desirable).

Mandatory Qualifications:

Qualification in disability or similar field (preferred)

Current Victorian Drivers License

NDIS Workers Screening Check

NDIS Workers Orientation Module Quality Safety and You

Working with Childrens Check

International Police Check (if applicable)

This position is paid under the SCHADS Award at a Level 3.1 and paid at a level in line with experience. Salary Packaging of up to $15900 available including Meals and Entertainment benefits.

Screening and interviews may commence prior to closing date.
