Job Description

We are seeking a Fleet Compliance Coordinator to ensure that NEP meets or exceeds all compliance standards for the safety of its Mobile Units and the personnel who operate them. This person should have a variety of skills related to the maintenance and coordination of vehicles and trucks. Effective communication skills (written and verbal) are a must. We prefer a person with a Class A CDL that has driven over the road (OTR) throughout the Country. All of our vehicles are 18-speed manual transmission. On occasion will be called upon to drive our vehicles for events. In this role you will be involved in some of the biggest Media / Broadcasting / Sporting Events in the world.

This is a Full-Time position based on-site at our Pittsburgh location. This position requires full commitment and the person will be on call 24/7. We strongly desire this person to live locally or be willing to relocate to the Pittsburgh area.

Key duties include:

  • Assist with management of our compliance with DOT and FMCSA standard.
  • Develop and coach staff.
  • Manage Fleets electronic log system track violations / activities and prepare statistical reports.
  • Oversee driver incident reports file claims and follow up with Fleet Maintenance
  • Coordinate repairs
  • Mentor drivers

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of related skills in fleet operations
  • Class A CDL strongly preferred.
  • Current knowledge of State and Federal transportation laws and regulations
  • Excellent PC skills including Excel Power Point and Word
  • Must possess a current FMCSA physical exam card.
  • High School Diploma required. Associates or Technical degree preferred; however a combination of education and experience are acceptable.
