Job Title: Mechanical Engineering Technician
Location: Oxfordshire
Salary: 27000 - 35000 per annum
Type: Permanent
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Mechanical Engineering Technician to join a growing engineering company in Oxfordshire. The successful candidate will work closely with the production and design teams to assemble modify and maintain products to a high standard.
Responsibilities:
Building products in accordance with QA systems and technical drawings
Maintaining a clean and organised workshop environment
Completing modifications and DMRs as required in communication with the design office
Adhering to all Health and Safety procedures
Ensuring product quality meets company standards
Carrying out repairs on-site at customer locations when necessary
Flexibility to work outside normal hours including evenings and weekends during peak production times
Requirements:
Strong mechanical aptitude and hands-on workshop skills
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
Good communication skills and the ability to work in a team
Flexibility in working hours when required
Previous experience in a similar technician or assembly role is advantageous
