The Opportunity:
As the Director of Ticketing in Intercollegiate Athletics you will be responsible for the overall management coordination and execution of all ticketing functions related to mens basketball and other assigned sports and events. This includes strategic planning sales operations game-day ticketing operations and customer this role you will be responsible for ensuring efficient and compliant use of ticket systems maximizing revenue opportunities and delivering a high-quality fan experience. You will report directly to the Assistant AD Ticketing and will help lead the day-to-day activities of the Ticket Office.
Additional Information:
This is a full-time (100% FTE) permanent position. This position is overtime-eligible.
Monthly Salary: $4027 to $5398 Range 45 Steps A - M. Successful candidates are typically hired at the beginning of the salary range and receive scheduled salary increment increases in accordance with WAC 357-28.Step M is typically a longevity step.
In accordance with RCW 49.58.110 the above salary reflects the full salary range for this position. Individual placement within the range is based on the candidates current experience education skills and abilities related to the position.

Required Qualifications
High school graduation or equivalentANDthree (3) years of applicable experience in the program specialty; OR equivalent education/experience.
Program specialty is three (3) years of experience coordinating ticket sales for events or comparable business operation.
Ability to work a flexible schedule is required as this position works various athletic events both during and outside of typical business hours as well as weekends.
Must have or be able to obtain by time of hire a valid drivers license and meet requirements in accordance withSPPM7.10and departmental driving standards.
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelors degree or higher.
One (1) year of supervisory or managerial experience.
Previous experience working within an intercollegiate or professional Athletic Ticket Office.
Strong computer background with working knowledge of Paciolan or other ticket computer systems Microsoft Word Excel and database management.
Demonstrated experience working in positions that require customer service leadership and strong communication skills.
Work experience that demonstrates the ability to provide clear information on an impromptu basis to individuals or diverse groups of people.
Demonstrated work experience that requires strong time management fiscal accountability and organizational skills.
Possess excellent report writing skills and have the ability to initiate and complete projects with specific deadlines.
Work experience that demonstrates the ability to function professionally in highly stressful situations.
