Range Explanation:
Hiring Range is an estimate of where you can receive an offer. The actual salary offer will carefully consider a wide range of factors including your skills qualifications experience education licenses training and internal equity.
Pay Range is the entire compensation range for the position.

Our courthouse is seeking two full-time Court Case Management Generalists who are detail-oriented highly organized and eager to contribute to the legal system. This role requires flexibility as responsibilities may eventually extend to both civil and criminal case management. Spanish fluency is highly preferred as many individuals who visit the courthouse are Spanish speakers.
The ideal candidate must be an efficient note-taker possess strong organizational skills and have a genuine interest in the civil and criminal justice system. Proficiency in multiple computer programs is essential as is the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team. This role involves significant phone communication and in-person interaction with the public requiring excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
Daily tasks will vary but may include processing dismissals new cases service filings default applications evictions and other civil matters. This position offers a dynamic and fast-paced work environment where attention to detail and efficiency are key. Essential Functions:
As defined under the Americans with Disabilities Act this classification may include any of the following tasks knowledge skills and other characteristics. Perform customer service functions primarily by telephone and occasionally in person; provide information and/or assistance regarding court hearings court procedures fees case status/disposition lift defaults on drivers licenses; distribute forms; respond to and research routine questions or complaints;
Review court or case files for accuracy and completeness to determine next appropriate action;
Receive and processes payments; update databases to reflect payment; issue receipts; balance payment receipts; and prepare daily cash out;
Establish payment arrangements according to PCCJC policy and procedure;
Provide customers with available options and/or resources according to court policies and procedures based on case type;
Perform a quality check on each case for each call received correcting any issues;
Guide customers to the courts website to use available online resources;
Create calendar events in the courts case management system.
Provide in-person coverage at the courts information window;
Process the courts returned mail;
Ensure the courts electronic record is accurate using available reports;
Respond to all customer service emails received by the court;
Operate a variety of office equipment such as photocopiers desktop computers facsimile machines and scanners;
Complete side duties special assignments and projects as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
High School diploma or equivalent and two years of customer service and/or office experience; OR any combination of education and/or experience as approved by Human Resources.

Preferred Qualifications: (Be specific in describing your experience in your application. Ensure the descriptions provided illustrate your competencies specifically addressing the required and preferred qualifications.):
Experience responding to customer inquiries via phone email and in person including providing procedural guidance researching case information and resolving routine concerns.
Ability to communicate effectively in English and Spanish to assist a diverse customer base.
Experience with/knowledge of laws policies and procedures related to maintaining confidentiality in a legal government or customer service environment.
Selection Procedure:
Pima County Human Resources Department reserves the right to admit to the selection process only those candidates that meet the minimum qualifications. All applications will be assessed based on an evaluation of the listed education and experience. Candidates meeting the minimum qualifications may be further evaluated/scored against any advertised Preferred Qualifications. The hiring authority will interview and select the successful candidate from a referral list provided by Human Resources. Additional assessments/testing may be required as part of the selection process.

Licenses and Certificates:Some positions require a valid Arizona Class D driver license at the time of application. Failure to maintain the required licensure shall be grounds for termination.

Successful candidates will receive a post-offer pre-employment background screening to include verification of work history education and criminal conviction history. A prior criminal conviction will not automatically disqualify a candidate from employment with the County. Must be able to pass knowledge-based test at 6 months and 1 year after training.
