We are seeking a HR Specialist Service Delivery to join our dynamic team in Princeton NJ. This role is a key contributor to the success of our Human Resources operations and plays a vital role in supporting and enhancing the employee experience across the full HR lifecycle.
As a highly organized and detail-oriented HR professional you will ensure that HR operations run smoothly and compliantly within our fast-paced regulated environment. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a collaborative setting and is passionate about delivering exceptional HR service in the life sciences sector.
Key Responsibilities
Coordinate core HR functions including onboarding offboarding compliance and HR administration.
Serve as a liaison between employees and management promoting clear communication and consistent application of HR policies.
Maintain accurate employee records and ensure data integrity within HRIS systems.
Collaborate with the Leave of Absence (LOA) team to ensure timely processing of leave requests proper documentation and compliance with FMLA ADA and company policies.
Collaborate with HR leadership to improve processes and implement HR Strategies.
Collaborate with other departments on cross-functional projects.
Contribute to special HR projects and process improvement initiatives that enhance our overall HR service delivery.
Assess and respond to employee questions and inquiries; triaging requests researching options providing compliant consistent answers and engaging appropriate subject matter experts as needed.
Support immigration processes including coordination of visa applications (H-1B TN L-1 etc.) liaising with legal counsel and maintaining compliance with immigration documentation and timelines.
Qualifications/Experience & Interpersonal Skills
Bachelors degree in Human Resources Business Administration or related field.
35 years of HR experience preferably in the life sciences biotech or healthcare industry.
Strong interpersonal organizational and communication skills.
Experience supporting U.S. immigration and LOA processes.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a regulated deadline-driven environment.
Proficient in Microsoft Office and familiar with HRIS platforms (e.g. Workday ServiceNow or equivalent).
Exceptional communication problem-solving and interpersonal skills.
Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism.
Knowledge of HR policies and practices employment laws and regulations.
Expertise in one or more disciplines employee relations benefits OSHA FMLA workers compensation or new hire orientation
Collaborates with corporate HR and payroll teams to support compensation benefits and employee relations initiatives.
Highly organized with the capability to manage multiple tasks in a dynamic environment.
Additional Information:
This is a hybrid role and the ideal candidate will be based out of Princeton NJ. The hybrid schedule requires in-office presence on Tuesdays Wednesdays and Thursdays with the option to work remotely on Mondays and Fridays.
