Job Description
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
Wrap units with insulation material including cutting and measuring material for placement on unit
Fits adjusts installs or fastens unit or component parts to a unit.
Performs housekeeping and other duties as required.
PHYSICAL / MENTAL REQUIREMENTS:
Lifting 50 lbs. (occasional)
Standing (constant)
Walking (frequently)
Bending (frequently)
Climbing (occasional)
Crawling (occasional)
Reaching (frequent)
Grasping (frequent)
Sitting (occasional)
Vision corrected to 20/20.
Handling equipment (frequently)
ENVIRONMENTAL FACTORS:
Manufacturing Exposure to noise dirt dust cold/heat (indoor) cold/heat (outdoor).
Job hazards of working around heavy equipment and machinery.
TOOLS AND EQUIPMENT USED:
Tape measure small hand tools power tools crane brazing torch.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Knowledge of hand tools.
Ability to read measuring tape.
Good hand dexterity required to fit and assemble product.
Perform math at a level normally acquired through completion of high school. Ability to maintain clean and safe work area and/or equipment as required.
Willingness to actively participate in a Continuous Improvement Team
Must be able to understand and follow safety rules regulations policies and procedures.
Must be able to follow written and oral instructions.
Depending on the type of Assembler this person must be able to qualify in one (1) of the following processes:
