Looking for a Community Group Home Manager
Basic Schedule: Live-in position (24 hours a day/7 days a week); one week on one week off.
Basic Job Description/Responsibilities for Community Group Home Manager:
- The Community Group Home Manager is responsible for assisting residents to develop their lives in a normal home-like atmosphere.
- This position requires the knowledge of all the principles of household management including basic nutrition & cooking money management personal relationships human behavior the developmental model of normalization as well as management training and supervision and communication skills.
- Responsible for all needs of residents at all times; provide continuous supervision for residents.
- Act as a positive role model for residents.
- Provide residents with safe transportation.
- Provide a happy and home-like environment for residents.
Required Job Skills/Experience:
- Two years general work experience.
- Prefer experience and/or education in the human service field or related areas (special education psychology social work child development nursing communication therapy etc.)
- Ability to read write understand and follow directions; basic computer skills; current/valid drivers license
- Minimum 21 years of age.
