Our Service:

Stride Hub is a community mental health and wellbeing service for adults their families and carers that offers access to integrated care and support to improve recovery can access a range of community mental health support services; clinical mental health services; care coordination and NDIS service also offers full DBT clinical and DBT skills building interventions to the community.

Role overview:

The Clinical Manager role has responsibility for the provision of clinical leadership and management. The focus of this role is on the day-to-day delivery of excellence in quality care provision ensuring all clinical governance and compliance targets are implemented and met as well as supporting innovation and quality improvement to ensure evidence-based outcomes for people accessing the service.

Requirements:

• Must have one of the following: Full AHPRA registration as a Psychologist Clinical Psychologist Occupational Therapist or Mental Health Nurse OR AASW registration as an Accredited Mental Health Social Worker
• Knowledge and understanding of the theory underpinning evidence-based interventions and clinical practice as well as demonstrated excellence in the practical application of such in the areas of mental health and alcohol and drug use.
• Demonstrated ability to undertake assessment and initial screening activities to determine client care needs provide counselling produce assessment reports and assist clients to access necessary services.
• Demonstrated expertise in the management of a multi-disciplinary service delivery team including the ability to lead the coordination of care for adults and their families
• Highly developed communication (including written) and interpersonal skills
• Ability to engage with individuals advocate on their behalf and establish and maintain effective relationships with staff participants carers and stakeholders
• Good computer skills and familiarity of Microsoft Office applications and the capacity to learn how to use a new clinical software package.
• Must be eligible to apply/currently hold a WWCC
• Must hold/be willing to apply for NDIS worker screening clearance
• Must have a Drivers License
