Job Description

Vice President - Reporting and Equity Accounting:


Make an Impact

As a reporting professional you will oversee the preparation analysis and coordination of monthly and quarterly reporting to support ongoing filing requirements. You will also oversee equity and NCI accounting. This will also include consolidated financial analysis as well as other financial reports for use by management equity holders lenders and outside agencies.

  • Assist with the preparation of monthly and quarterly financial reporting.
  • Prepare core financial statements including statements of shareholders equity and cash flows.
  • Prepare supporting schedules and documentation for to support both public and non-public financial statements.
  • Oversee Bridges share-based compensation non-controlling interest and other complex equity accounting.
  • Prepare or assist in the preparation of consolidated analytics.
  • Perform technical research and prepare technical accounting memos including complex evaluation of variable interest entities and consolidation considerations.
  • Evaluate business transactions for proper U.S. GAAP accounting treatment including accounting and disclosure recommendations.
  • Assist with the implementation and ongoing monitoring of significant new accounting pronouncements and documentation of accounting policies.

What you should bring:

  • BA/BS in Accounting or Finance.
  • CPA required.
  • 6 years of financial reporting and auditing experience with at least 3 years of public accounting experience and experience working in a public companys external reporting function.
  • Good understanding of financial statements U.S. GAAP and SEC reporting rules.
  • Experience in the real estate and or alternative asset managementindustry is preferred
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Experience with Yardi and Workiva a plus but not required
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment manage multiple assignments with competing priorities and meet tight deadlines.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Strong verbal and communication skills
  • Ability to analyze and question data for reasonableness and proper accounting.
  • Collaborative and can be flexible in his/her approach.

  • 401K:Bridge Investment Group will match your contributions dollar-for-dollar up to 6% of your pay. These contributions are fully vested immediately. Eligible employees are automatically enrolled at a 4% contribution rate. *The employee must be at least 21 years of age and have worked for the Company for at least 60 days.
  • Paid Time Off: Employee will accrue 5.23 hours of paid time off per pay period for a total of 17 days per year.
  • 11 Paid Holidays per year.
  • Following six (6) months of employment at the Company you will be eligible per birth adoption or placement of a child for four (4) weeks of paid parental leave as the primary caregiver to the child or two weeks of paid parental leave as the secondary caregiver to the child. Following two years of employment at the Company you will be eligible for twelve weeks of paid parental leave per birth adoption or placement of a child if you are the primary caregiver of the child.
  • Tuition Reimbursement: Up to $5000 per year of pre-approved tuition expenses will be reimbursed upon submission of approved documentation. Repayment obligations may apply if employment terminates prior to 24 months.
