Core Responsibilities:
- Greet clients as they arrive in the service drive and confirm scheduled services notate any vehicle concerns the customer has and write work orders.
- Inform customers of necessary service and technician recommendations provide estimates for repairs obtain customer authorizations and collect payments.
- Prioritize required services and monitor the progress of vehicle repair throughout the day keeping customers informed on completion times service expenses and possible changes.
- Foster customer loyalty through outstanding customer service and rapport.
Desired Qualifications and Experience:
- Automotive background: A minimum of 3 years ofautomotive service advisor/writer experience with a highline/luxury brand required; experience working at BMW dealership is highly favorable.
- Customer service: Demonstrated ability to understand customer needs and provide tailored service solutions.
- Collaboration: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with both customers and team members.
- Efficiency: Exhibits strong time management and organizational skills.
- Motivation: Self-motivated to achieve individual and dealership goals.
- Must have a valid drivers license and clean driving record.
- Must pass a pre-employment background check and drug screening.
Hours and Work Environment:
The Service Department is open Monday Friday 7am 6pm and Saturday 8am 5pm. We ask that all candidates have flexible availability to work any of these days and times. Our Service team enjoys a 5-day workweek and a positive productive team-oriented environment. Service Advisors work in an office environment in the Service Drive and occasionally in the climate-controlled shop.
