Primary Responsibilities
- Support Partner/Senior Advisor on client matters including:
- Prepare financial exhibits and analysis such as net worth statements cash flow statements estate tax forecasts balance sheets flow charts asset allocations and portfolio analysis
- Prepare and review complex Federal and state income tax returns for high-net-worth individuals which could include individual (with many K-1s from MLPs and alternative investments) LLCs Business Entities and Gift Tax
- Coordinate client meetings including preparation of meeting materials; notifying and distributing agenda and implementing post-meeting action items
- Determine service requirements and manage daily client activities applying problem-solving strategies
- Answer client questions and respond to client inquiries providing superior service and ensure successful resolution of any client need
- Assist planning and investment team members and practice leaders with income tax research technical advice and support on tax related matters
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree required. (Finance or Accounting majors preferred)
- 2 years of work experience in financial industry tax and/or related field
- Strong attention to detail exceptional problem-solving skills and ability to organize and prioritize work in order to meet deadlines in a proactive manner with little supervision required
- Strong verbal and written communication skills professional presentation and organizational skills.
- Evidence of excellent interpersonal skills in dealing with staff and clients
Preferred Qualifications:
- CPA EA or CFP candidate preferred
- Proficiency inCCH Axcess tax preparation softwarestrongly preferred
