Job Description

JOB DESCRIPTIONPOSITION TITLE:Science Teacher 6-12REQUIREMENTS:Certification from the Rhode Island Department of Education in General Science or the ability to to utilize various teaching techniques and methods to modify classroom of various technology to individualize work experience and effectiveness with a population that exhibits challenging ability to be trained in and use Crisis : Collaborate with special educators and other subject area teachers to provide appropriate of Common Core State with IEPs/504 plans and implement accommodations accordinglyAttend meetings to present student progress and data as needed to adjust and implement clear expectations and proficient classroom management skills for student with challenging -going communication with families to discuss student progress/needs. Provide support in the event of a safety-related incident including the use of appropriate physical interventionProvide support for students in completing class assignments and to achieve their duties as assigned by the the Director of Special Education and Building Principal.
