C-Therm is searching for an Electronics Calibration Technician/Technologist to join the Production Team to maintain and support design electronics hardware and firmware of C-Therm products and test document and support the products.
C-Therm Technologies Ltd. provides non-destructive thermal sensor technology that analyzes how efficiently materials transfer heat. The technology is used in research and development production and quality control applications by clients all over the world including NASA the US Navy Adidas 3M and Proctor & Gamble.
Responsibilities:
- Perform calibration testing troubleshooting and repairs on electronic (electrical) and electro-mechanical measuring and test equipment (M&TE).
- Precisely follow C-Therm procedures and policies industry standards (ISO) & manufacturers requirements for accurate calibration of electronic M&TE.
- Suggest equipment upgrades to improve efficiency and accuracy.
- Write reports and keep detailed records of calibration activities.
- Develop procedures to improve traceability and quality process.
- Inspect incoming materials and equipment to ensure that it meets the required specifications.
- Pack equipment securely to prevent damage during transportation.
- Analyze equipment failures and propose suggestions to electronics designer on potential solutions.
- Support production in other electronics assembly calibration and testing activities.
Qualifications:
Mandatory Requirements & Skills
- Completion of two years of college course work in the applied sciences.
- Experience in calibration and maintenance of instruments.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong foundation in algebra geometry and trigonometry.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent problem identification and problem-solving skills.
Desired Requirements & Skills
- Experienced and skilled in soldering.
- Good understanding of electronic schematics and board layout with knowledge of circuit design and PCB routing.
- Excellent knowledge of test equipment such as oscilloscopes signal generators multimeters etc.
- Experience in testing electronic and board assemblies.
- Some experience with scientific lab instrumentation and equipment specifically thermal conductivity measurement sensor technology.
- Good knowledge of ISO 9001 standards engineering processes BOMs obsolescence management.
