**Location: West Chester Ohio**
**Schedule:**
Monday Friday (Rotating Shifts: 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM 9:30 AM - 6:00 PM)
AmeriMed Infusion Pharmacy is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented **Admissions Coordinator I** to join our team in West Chester this role you will coordinate infusion therapy enteral therapy and durable medical equipment services for our infusion patients and customers. You will play a vital role in ensuring smooth patient admissions optimizing the patient experience and supporting continuous quality improvement initiatives.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Facilitate the admission process by obtaining referral data and entering patient information into CPR.
- Coordinate start of care with referral sources patients and service delivery teams to ensure timely and accurate service initiation.
- Maintain an in-depth knowledge of product lines and customer service standards acting as a resource for both internal teams and external customers.
- Keep current on local insurance providers to assist with discharge planning for infusion enteral therapy and medical equipment needs.
- Develop and nurture relationships with outside agencies and referral sources to promote seamless transitions to home care.
- Verify insurance coverage including government payors and private insurers and complete necessary authorizations benefit checks and documentation such as ABN AOB and Patient Agreements.
- Participate actively in team meetings and continuous quality improvement efforts.
