Responsibilities
Are you ready to drive impactful financial strategies and optimize operational costs in a dynamic manufacturing environment As a Cost Accounting Manager you will play a critical role at the intersection of finance and operations guiding the companys profitability and cost management. You will be a strategic partner to leadershipleveraging your expertise in analytical problem solving process improvement and cross-functional collaboration to provide actionable insights that shape important business decisions.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
- Responsible for managing month-end closing of raw materials including:
- FIFO calculation and booking
- Material variance analysis
- Coordination with procurement team
- Prepare raw material forecasts and key reports
- Own monthly and quarterly entries and account reconciliations
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders across business units and teams other corporate functions on various projects
- Present summaries and executive-style reporting to senior leadership
- Perform ad-hoc reporting and analysis as necessary
- Supervisie and support one direct report
Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS:
- BA/BS degree in Accounting CPA a plus
- 5 years of experience in accounting or finance
- Background in materials costing experience preferred
- Must have strong analytical skills
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills required
- SAP experience preferred
- Ability to effectively interact cross functionally and senior leadership as necessary

A reasonable estimate of the current range is $95000-$158000
