API Formulation Operator (3rd Shift)

Performs required duties in operating a variety of equipment used in the micronizing drying mixing and/or combining of chemicals to manufacture finished pharmaceuticals in assigned area of the division. Dependent on area of assignment this includes the combining or processing of a wide variety of raw and intermediary materials used in the manufacturing of finished pharmaceutical products and packaging finished APIs and intermediates. Performs a variety of miscellaneous tasks in support of the department mission.

In this role you will:

• Operate both automatic and manual chemical process equipment of varying complexity in various production processes adhering to operating procedures and performing duties required in operating a variety of equipment in your assigned area.

Participate in quality and safety incident investigations troubleshoot operating deviations and issues and coordinate with other functions when necessary.

• Complete all documentation in accordance with Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) and Good Distribution Practices (part of GxP) standards

• Prepare and clear equipment for maintenance work perform material receiving staging transfer dispensing sampling and charging operations monitor plant status and liaise with colleagues from other departments to ensure uninterrupted manufacturing processes

Additional Duties and Responsibilities Include:

Time Span of Work: Daily tasks and deliverables. Results can usually be measured on daily or weekly basis.

Here Is What You Need (Minimum Requirements)

• Education: High school diploma / general education degree (GED)
• Experience: Completion of Formulation operator training and required on the job experience as a Formulation Operator Assistant
• Certificates Licenses or Registrations: Fork-lift certification as required
• Language Skills: Effective written and oral communication
• Computer Skills: Microsoft Applications
• Physical Demands: Considerable standing walking climbing of stairs and ladders lifting and moving of containers up to 25 kg

• Experience in operating chemical process equipment
• Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) and Good Distribution Practices (GxP)

PHYSICAL/MENTAL REQUIREMENTS

• Physical Demands: Considerable standing walking climbing of stairs and ladders lifting and moving of containers up to 25 kg
• Work Environment: Frequent exposure to airborne particles (Air Hood required); must work near moving mechanical parts. The noise level in the work environment may be loud. Use of hearing and eye protection is required.

3rd shift (primary 10:00 PM 6:30 AM M-F with overtime before/after shift and on weekends as needed)

The salary for this position ranges from $2105 to $3508 per addition this position offers eligibility for overtime weekend holiday and other pay premiums depending on the work schedule and the Companys policies.
