Nursery Practitioner (Level 3)hours per week
Our client a thriving and inclusive nursery setting is looking for a passionate and qualified Nursery Practitioner to join their dedicated early years team. This is an exciting opportunity for a caring and proactive individual to help shape the development and wellbeing of young children in a nurturing stimulating and supportive environment.
As a Nursery Practitioner you will play a key role in delivering high-quality early years education and care. Working closely with children youll create engaging learning experiences that promote curiosity confidence and creativity. Youll work collaboratively with a warm and welcoming team contributing to a positive inclusive nursery culture where every child can thrive.
What Were Looking For
- Level 3 qualification in Early Years Education (e.g. NVQ CACHE or equivalent).
- Previous experience in a nursery preschool or early years childcare setting.
- Excellent understanding of the EYFS and child development stages.
- A compassionate child-centred approach with strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Confident knowledge of safeguarding procedures and commitment to promoting a safe environment.
- A genuine passion for helping children reach their full potential regardless of background or ability.

Key Responsibilities
- Deliver inspiring age-appropriate activities in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
- Provide high standards of care and education supporting each childs emotional physical and cognitive development.
- Observe and assess childrens progress maintaining accurate and meaningful learning journals and records.
- Foster strong respectful relationships with children families and colleagues.
- Support children with additional or special educational needs (SEN) ensuring an inclusive learning environment for all.
- Maintain a clean safe and secure setting upholding all safeguarding health & safety and hygiene practices.
- Contribute to curriculum planning and team meetings sharing ideas and feedback.
- Engage in training and continuous professional development to support your growth and confidence in the role.
