South Kingstown High School is a grade 9-12 comprehensive high school serving over 750 Summary: The Assistant Boys Soccer Coach is primarily responsible for coaching the Varsity Boys Soccer Team as well as the JV Boys Soccer program. The position also requires duties such as:Assist the Head Coach with supervising athletes during practices and competitionAssist the Head Coach with instructing players in the rules regulations equipment and techniques of the and direct individual and small group practice activities as directed by the Head CoachAssist the Head Coach with game the equipment in orderly condition and assumes responsibility for its behavior and maintain appropriate conduct towards players officials and spectatorsFollows established procedures in the event of an athletes injuryModels nondiscriminatory practices in all activitiesTraveling to and from away contestsParticipates in special activities to include parents night banquets award nights staff development meetings clinics and other professional activities to improvecoaching any other related duties as assigned by the Head Boys Soccer Coach Athletic Director or other appropriate : Rhode Island Teaching Certificate preferred1-3 years of experience coaching Boys Soccer at the High School level preferredComprehensive knowledge of the game is paramount.
