Position: Senior Estimator - Commercial Drywall
Location: Dallas TX
We are proud partners with a specialty contractor that has built a strong reputation across the region for delivering top-tier metal stud framing drywall and finish services. With a commitment to quality craftsmanship and lasting relationships this team continues to raise the bar in commercial construction.
They are actively seeking a Detail-Oriented Drywall Estimator to join their growing team. The ideal candidate brings experience in commercial interiors and a strong ability to accurately assess and bid drywall and framing projects.
What Youll Be Doing:
- Prepare detailed cost estimates for drywall framing and finish scopes
- Read and interpret architectural drawings and specifications
- Conduct quantity takeoffs and review subcontractor/vendor quotes
- Collaborate with the project management team to develop competitive bids
- Assist in value engineering efforts to optimize cost savings
- Maintain historical cost data and stay current on industry pricing
What Were Looking For:
- 3 years of estimating experience in drywall and metal stud framing
- Proficiency with estimating software (QuickBid OST or similar)
- Strong understanding of construction documents and scopes of work
- Excellent math organizational and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and meet bid deadlines
