Job Description

Ecolab is seeking a Forklift Operator to join our team in Greensboro NC. As a Logistics Associate/Forklift Operator youll help deliver the products that support clean water safe food and healthy environments around the world. Youll play a key role in supporting shipping receiving inventory and warehouse operations. Youll ensure customer orders are picked packed and shipped accurately and on time. This is a hands-on opportunity to grow your skills in a fast-paced setting while contributing to a culture of safety quality and continuous improvement.

How Youll Make an Impact:

  • Pick customer orders using a scanner or tablet and stack them onto pallets

  • Stage and label completed orders accurately for shipment

  • Operate material handling equipment such as manual and electric pallet jacks reach trucks and propane lifts

  • Verify product quantities labeling and packaging quality against packing lists and SAP records

  • Inspect packaging and contents for damage or quality issues

  • Coordinate with customer service production and packaging teams to ensure order accuracy and timely fulfillment

  • Assemble shipping boxes prepare labels and manage packaging induction

  • Load trailers with packed boxes and pallets for outbound shipments

  • Identify and report quantity discrepancies to the Supervisor or Lead

  • Maintain a clean and organized picking area using 5S principles

  • Support inventory control by updating databases and participating in cycle counts

  • Ensure the freight sorting area is organized and follows established stocking guidelines

  • Follow all warehouse safety procedures and policies

  • Perform additional duties as assigned to support logistics and warehouse operations

Position Details:

  • Plant Location: Greensboro NC

  • Work Week & Shift: 1st (6a-2p) / 2nd (2-10p) / 3rd (10p-6a)

  • Compensation package offered: $20 / hr Shift Differential ($1.00-$1.50)

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or equivalent

  • Previous plant or warehouse experience

  • Previous forklift operating experience

  • No immigration sponsorship offered for this role

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous plant or warehouse experience

  • Strong communication and time management skills

  • Experience working independently and as part of a team

Physical Demands:

  • Position requires lifting/carrying up to 50 lbs

  • Position requires passing a drug screen

Annual or Hourly Compensation Range:

The pay range for this position is $20.00 per hour. Many factors are taken into consideration when determining compensation such as experience education training geography etc. We comply with all minimum wage and overtime laws.
