Roper St. Francis Healthcare is opening the Health Pavilion at Sawmill Centre in Summerville featuring a 40000-square-foot ambulatory center and a 20000-square-foot medical office buildingset to see its first patients in 2026.
This expansion will bring enhanced access to emergency care imaging lab services outpatient surgery and womens health right in the heart of Dorchester and Berkeley counties. This position is slated to start in December of 2025.
Work Shift: Days 7:00am - 8:30pm. Days and times will rotate 7:00am -7:30pm & 8:00am - 8:30pm and every 4thSaturday & Sunday 7:00am - 7:30pm.
Work Location: Sawmill Centre at Berlin G Myers & Hwy 78
Primary Function/General Purpose of Position
The primary responsibility of a multi-modality technologist performs any 2 combination of procedures with related techniques producing images for the interpretation by and at the request of a licensed independent practitioner.

Licensing/Certification
Certification and Registration with ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) or RDMS (Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer) or CNMT (Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist) (required)
Required to be competent in 2 of the following and obtain certification within 12 months:
Bone Densitometry (BD)
Breast Sonography (BS)
Radiologic Technology (R)
Computed Tomography (CT)
Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MR)
Ultrasonography (S)
Nuclear Medicine (N)
Cardiovascular Interventional Radiography (CV)* grandfathered
Cardiac Interventional Radiography (CI)
Cardiac Sonographer (CS)
Vascular Interventional Radiography (VI)
Mammography (M)
Vascular Sonography (VS)
Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT)
BLS Basic Life Support American Heart Association (required at hire for Roper St Francis Healthcare locations; preferred at hire required prior to independent patient care at BSMH)
State Licensure (preferred unless required by the state where the job is being performed)
Education
Associates from an ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) accredited institute or of an approved Nucelar Medicine Technology program or of an approved School of Ultrasound/Medical Sonography (preferred)
Work Experience
1 year of experience in healthcare environment (preferred)
Training
EPIC Electronic Health Record (EHR) (preferred)
Picture archiving communiation system (PACS) (preferred)
Radiology Information System (RIS) (preferred)
IV Contrast Administration (preferred)
