Job Description

RN- Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (Permanent Role)

Location: Temple TX 76502
Shift: 12 HR Nights 07:00 PM - 07:00 AM
Guaranteed Hours: (36 hours/week)
Compensation: Based on experience (Negotiable)

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver high-quality evidence-based care to critically ill neonates.
  • Monitor vital signs and assess changes in patient condition.
  • Administer medications and perform necessary procedures under physician direction.
  • Collaborate closely with neonatologists respiratory therapists and other interdisciplinary team members.
  • Educate and support parents and family members through their NICU journey.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.
  • Adhere to hospital protocols policies and NICU-specific standards of care.
Requirements:
  • Education:
    • Graduate of an accredited RN School of Nursing (ADN required).
  • Licensure & Certifications:
    • Active Registered Nurse (RN) License in the state of Texas.
    • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (Required at hire or within 30 days of start).
  • Required Experience:
    • Minimum of 6 months of RN experience.
    • 2 years of NICU or pediatric critical care experience.
