Job Description
Role: Sr Data Engineer
Work location : Boston MA (Hybrid)
Type: Contract
In-person interview is required.
Job Duties:
- Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills with high attention to detail.
- Committed and highly motivated with ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Able to take lead and motivate junior resources on a daily basis.
- Effectively communicate issues incidents and updates to management and stakeholders in a timely manner.
Minimum Skills Required:
- Strong background in AWS cloud services like lambda glue s3 emr sns sqs cloudwatch redshift
- Expertise in SQL and experience with relational databases like Oracle MySql PostgreSQL Proficient in Python programming for data engineering tasks automations
- Experience with shell scripting in Linux/Unix environments.
- Experience with Big Data Hadoop Spark
- Nice to have - knowledge in Machine Learning models regression validation
